Winnipeg Free Press: Ivanhoe Australia hires UBS to help evaluate partners for mineral projects

Ivanhoe Australia Ltd. has hired UBS Investment Bank to help invite and evaluate potential partners for its Osborne copper and gold mine and other properties within its Cloncurry portfolio. Ivanhoe, listed on the Toronto and Australia stock exchanges, is a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines Inc. of Vancouver, which is now part of the Rio Tinto group of companies. Ivanhoe Australia has been actively pursuing a range of alternatives for long-term funding required to advance its Cloncurry projects. They include the Osborne complex, an idled mining operation scheduled to enter production in March, the Merlin molybdenum-rhenium project; the Mount Dore copper project and the Mount Elliott copper-gold project – as well as advancing Ivanhoe Australia’s exploration program. To read the full article, click hereIvanhoe Australia hires UBS to help evaluate partners for mineral projects
