Climate Conversations: Steve Frisch on Ninja Mining in Mongolia

In the Northern Lakes region of Mongolia, where the Selenge River flows to the world’s largest freshwater lake, Lake Baikal in Russia, 2007 Goldman Environmental Prize winner Tsetsegee Munkhbayer led a small group of Mongolian citizens into a confrontation with several mining companies.
